13 members of 5A have successfully completed their Bike-Ability Level 1 & 2. Their first day saw them eased in gently, learning how to dress safely and look after their bike. The challenge was stepped up in the afternoon, by leaving the school grounds and setting off onto the roads. They even had homework Tuesday night, which was to revise, ready for the next day ahead. Day 2 was time for level 2, where they were able to ride cautiously on single lane roads and manoeuvre safely around Blackpool. They arrived back very red faced, but happy with what they had achieved. There was even a flashy badge to represent their achievements!

Thank you to the team from Blackpool council who delivered the training and well done Year 5!
