As part of Year 5’s computing unit, they had to plan and create their own board game appropriate for reception children. RA and 5S joined together to help one another create their own games; not only did they make a mess of the classroom, they had fun doing it!
RA learnt important communication skills with other children in the school as well as turn-taking and fine motor skills. 5S learnt how to plan and create a game for a child aged 5. They discussed how to make their game safe for the reception children and how to help RA with their coordination and scissor-cutting skills.
