This week, our school choir proudly took part in two special community events: singing at Morrison's and performing for our local community centre. The positivity, confidence and Christmas cheer displayed by the children were truly infectious. It was wonderful to see them engaging so warmly with members of our wider community, showcasing not only their musical talents but also the spirit and values of our school.

Bringing festive joy to the elderly residents at the community centre was a privilege, and we received heartfelt praise for the children’s politeness, enthusiasm and the happiness they brought to the day. Many commented on what a pleasure they were to listen to and how uplifting it was to see such promising young people representing the future of our community.

Our performance at Morrison's was equally memorable, with shoppers pausing to enjoy the choir’s singing and to show their appreciation. Moments like these remind us how valuable it is to celebrate connection, kindness and community spirit.

We are incredibly proud of every child involved. The festivities continue, as the choir will be performing at the mayoral event on Saturday 13th December at 10:30am. We warmly encourage everyone to come along, share in the festive spirit and support our wonderful children.
