Year 6 have made a fantastic start to the new school year and have settled in extremely well. They are already showing what wonderful role models they can be around school.
Through our GAT (Getting Along Together) lessons, the children have been developing their skills in working with partners and teams, while also thinking carefully about the behaviours for learning that help us to be successful.
This week, Year 6 also enjoyed their first Art lesson. They explored a range of different fruits and vegetables, looking closely at shape, texture and detail before creating observational drawings using a variety of mixed media. The children showed great creativity and concentration, and we are looking forward to seeing their artistic skills develop in the coming weeks.
